
Trahanas with Red Sauce
Cooking time - 20 minutes
Preparation

Chop the onion in small cubes

Pour the EVOO in a pan and leave it to heat up

Sauté the onion with salt, pepper, thyme for 2 minutes.

Add trahanas, aridaia paprika, and the tomato sauce and stir for 1-2 minutes.

Add the hot water and boil in medium-low temperature for 12-13 minutes.

Switch off the stove and leave the trahanas to soak the sauce for 5 minutes with the lid on.

Remove from the stove and serve with crumbles of feta, and some fresh EVOO.

1 big red onion

150ml organic tomato sauce Iliogennima (spicy or normal)

250g. Trahanas Eirinis

100g organic feta Menikio
-
1,2 l hot water
-
Organic thyme Inoni

salt & pepper
