Tirokafteri is a Greek dip (sauce) which is the second famous dip after Tzatziki. The translation of the name means ‘spicy cheese’. It is widely consumed in Greece by both young people and the elderly. Tirokafteri, which is made of the famous Greek feta cheese, is an everyday appetizer on almost every table. The taste of tirokafteri is spicy, a little bit salty with a pinch of olive oil.
